The annual exhibition cum sale of handicrafts was a tremendous success with greater participation of students from Sparsh. This led to more helping hands and productive minds at work leading to the generation of Rs.26,000. Further, Sparsh was able to expand donation to a number of organizations and institutions. An amount of Rs. 10,000 was donated to a school for street children run by Rotary Club, Guwahati. Another Rs. 10,000 was donated to Hope Foundation, which runs for the education underprivileged children. Sparsh also took the opportunity of providing KVP of Rs.1000 each to six of its support staff for the education of their children.
Like every year, students of Hope Foundation were also invited for the community lunch to the Sparsh, Zoo Road. Students of Sparsh once again donated their old clothes, toys and school stationery to the children of Hope foundation.
